Fort Rock Cabin

We loved everything about our stay at Fort Rock! The house is GORGEOUS, and the perfect size for our family of 4. The cozy but modern aesthetic was the perfect mountain ambiance we were looking for. It was clean, with modern appliances and cozy beds. The hosts could also not have been nicer and more accommodating. They were so lovely with their communication and recommendations. As a bonus, the Fort Rock hike just down the street is stunning. Everything about our visit was perfect. Thank you so much for having us in your beautiful place - we will be back!!! xx

Great cabin and in a very good location. Modern and well appointed accommodation. Ian and Jen were super helpful and attentive. Would happily stay here again!!!

What a lovely discovery! A really tastefully modern 2-bedroomed house in a quiet part of Blackheath in the Blue Mountains. The cabin is finished to a very high spec with modern interiors. It has a very well equipped kitchen, effective air conditioning and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Visiting in the summer, we had no need to use the log burner but it looks as if it would be very cosy in the winter. Plenty of sheets and towels. Very light and airy. Extremely comfortable bed. The owners, Ian and Jen are delightful people and did everything to make our visit memorable, we were the first people to rent the property. We found that the cabin was within a short distance of delightful walks to Fort Rock and Porter's Pass among others and very near the station to take trains to Lithgow or into Sydney. We hope to revist in the near future when we make it back here from the UK.

We stayed at lovely Fort Rock Cabin for our wedding anniversary weekend away, and could not have been happier! Such a warm and inviting space, the cabin felt very homely and had all the finishing touches. Located a short distance from Blackheath train station and local restaurants and shops, it’s the perfect place to escape to in the mountains. The hosts Jen and Ian couldn’t have been lovelier! We have recommended Fort Rock to our friends already and will definitely be back.

Wonderfully appointed modern, cozy cabin a short walk from Blackheath. Close to beautiful walks and the absolute best of the Blue Mountains. Jen & Ian were fantastic hosts and made my daughter and I most welcome. The log burner did its job perfectly in the wintry weather. Likely to become a wintertime staple.

Fort Rock Cabin was absolutely beautiful and in a perfect location, central to all of the attractions in the blue mountains. When you couple this with the way Jen and Ian make you feel more than welcome, it's nothing short of perfect. The comfortable little cabin was well suited for the cold nights with a warm fire and comfortable bed. The cabin had everything we required for a long weekend stay. I could not rate Jen and Ian any higher, they were an absolute pleasure to deal with and we will be booking with them in the future!

My wife, two children and I enjoyed a delightful weekend at Fort Rock cabin. The cabin is modern, bright, spotless and very well appointed with everything you need for a relaxing break in the mountains. Fantastic coffee machine, rain shower and log burner, the beds were very comfortable and our kids loved the bunks! Very convenient stroll into Blackheath for fabulous cafes, bakery, book shop, art galleries, and a lovely fruit shop. We would highly recommend Fort Rock cabin, I’m sure we’ll be back! Jen & Ian are lovely hosts too.

I recently spent two extended stays at lovely Fort Rock Cabin. The cabin is nestled in a quiet street and the easy living at this peaceful well appointed cabin is evident in the design and layout. Close to beautiful walks and town makes it the perfect little retreat.
The hosts Jen and Ian were extremely helpful and delightful to chat with-they felt like family.
I highly recommend this homely modern well equipped cabin.

Such a nice little place to come back to after a day on the trails. Warm, comfortable and close to most of Blackheath's many great eateries.

My girlfriend, her daughter and I spent just one night here at the start of the year and it may have been the best day and a half of my entire Christmas break. The accommodation is beautiful, the bed is comfortable, the amenities are all modern and the nearby bushwalks were absolutely amazing. We're already looking at going back again in early February for two nights this time, so we can explore Blackheath more and just relax. I couldn't recommend this cabin enough

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay when visiting the Blue Mountains, Fort Rock Cabin is definitely it! Great location, beautiful surroundings and accommodation that has everything you need. Jen and Ian are warm and friendly and we’re available to answer any questions we had.

Funky little cottage accommodation with a great fire for those winter day/nights. Set straight off the bush walking tracks. Shops and restaurants are only a short drive. Owners are lovely and easy to deal with. We'll visit again!!

The photos don't do Fort Rock Cabin justice. Beautifully designed, spacious, snug and cosy. Great location. A wonderful fire, plenty of wood. Great shower and bathroom. Very comfy main bedroom. (We didn't use the 2nd bedroom, with its bunk beds. But it looked beautifully designed, like everything else.) Really well-provisioned kitchen. Any time I thought 'I could use one of those ... ', I'd open a drawer or cupboard - and there it was. A joy to cook there. And the hosts, Jen and Ian. They could not have been more accommodating. A delight to deal with. Well done those two on being so welcoming, Absolutely would recommend. You won't be disappointed.

This place absolutely beautiful! I stayed with my partner for 2 weeks and we loved it! It’s near the town and train station, and the walking trails are close by. It had everything we needed. The fire worked a treat for the cold nights. Highly recommend! This place is truly amazing!
